ELIXIR
Refining and regenerating treatment made from active ingredients that deeply shift layers of dead skin, helping to make your skin look finer, more translucent and younger. Encourages skin regeneration cycle and new cells, stimulates internal production of Collagen and Elastin helping to render the skin supple and elastic. 100% natural and contains no buffers or fillers.
The Elixir is to be used as advised by your Skin Practitioner. It can be used as an intensive treatment or for skin maintenance. It has a regenerative and balancing effect on the skin. Suitable for all skin types from aging to acne skins.
Active Ingredients:
New Zealand Manuka Oil and Organic Honey: antiinflammatory, antimicrobial, soothing and healing.
Rosehip Oil: reduces signs of premature aging, sun damage, heals and repairs skin tissue. Research indicates the presence of Vitamin A or retinoic acid which may account for the effects it has on the skin.
Sweet Orange Oil: beneficial for soothing dry, irritated or problematic skin. Vitamin C content acts as a catalyst to dissolve and remove dead skin increasing the rate of new cell formation
Rosehip Ascorbic Acid / Vitamin C acts as a catalyst to dissolve and remove dead skin, as well as acidify and restore the skin’s natural Ph. Vitamin C is also an anti-oxidant with wonderful proteins for smoother, softer skin.
Papaya Extract: gives a natural ‘lift’ & rejuvenation of the skin. Papaya also contains Vitamin C and Vitamin A increasing the rate of new cell formation.
Suitable for all skin types especially devitalised, aging, sun - damaged, oily, clogged and congested skins.
Note: this product is highly active and can cause redness and tingling.Tingling is normal in the first 5 mins after application, but severe stinging and burning is not. If your skin feels uncomfortable remove product (avoiding eyes) at once with warm water.
The skin may appear slightly pink after usage and may noticeably shed dead cells; blackheads, blemishes and capillaries may appear more noticeable for the first couple of weeks (as dead cells reveal under lying layers).
It is always best to patch test an area first ie inside of wrist and avoid eye area. Apply twice a week on a clean skin for approx 10minutes. If weather is cold you may need to shake bottle before applying.
*Note: When using products containing citrus or Vitamin C it is advisable to wear a sunscreen during the day.
